Why do white people wear shorts and flip flops in cold weather?

No Kidding. Is it some sort of a gene or is there some science behind this? I saw a guy walking comfortably with shorts and flip flops this morning. The temperature on the dashboard of my car read 36 °F. I will like to know if science can explain this. Thank You

It's an innate natural occurrence which is specific to the white population. It shows to the white women that they are capable of surviving temperatures which makes them an ideal breeding partner, ones who can survive the lowest temperature with the least clothes become the 'alpha male' of their social group and are consequently respected more. Do not confuse this with a streaker.

I live in in Los Angeles and I see many mexican, asian and white guys wearing this crap even when it is cold. I think it's for low-class,low-lifes. Just the other day on Ventura Blvd a guy walks in at 6:30am at western bagel looking like some gaylord and the forecast was rain!! I am white and don't own any flimsy shorts and the flip flops around are only for the porch. I wear jeans like a man should and it was a bunch of asian women that pointed it out and said it's because they are mommy boys that are very lazy - too lazy to put socks and shoes on and doing any type of labor is out of the question. Where has the manhood gone ?

I usually keep it warm in our house and it's just easier to hurry and leave in what you're already wearing.
