Technically and officially speaking the clock changes from 'am' to 'pm' at 12am (midnight). So technically thats the new day/morning.
But most people count their morning to start when the sun rises (which depends on daylight savings) and also depends on people's definition (like for people like me who wake up and are on the road driving to work before the sun rises). My morning starts at 5am.

Well I'd say night starts at 6 00 pm and if 12 00 Midnight is the middle of the night ( the prefix "in"), then night ends at 6 00 AM, it's only logical. I'd say that Morning is a combination of day and night (the early part of day and the late part of the night). Hope this helps.

So, if your phone rings at 2am and wakes you, the next day you would say "someone called me and woke me in the middle of the morning"??? Of course you would say "I was awaken in the middle of the night"! Evening is when the sun goes down and morning is when the the sun rises.

Midnight is the officiall cross over of dates and night/morning.
11:59 pm is night, 12.00am (midnight) is when it changes to morning
