I was wondering if black clothes make you warm in cold weather, I am living in Central Ohio right now and the weather has been dropping down around to 50-40 Degrees or lower and I am feeling sick right now because of the weather and I would like to know if black clothes really make you stay warm during cold winters during School and such.

Black will help you retain heat, for example if the sun is shining on you, you will be warmer if you are wearing black, but in school black will not help you stay warmer. To do this, you just need to wear multiple layers.

The answer is a definite maybe. If the sun is shining brightly, yes. The dark colors absorb more heat than pale ones do. In the dark, you would be colder because dark colors also radiate heat faster than pale ones do.

You'll get used to it --- eventually.
