It's on the equator, so every day has 12 hours of light, 12 hours of dark. My bro lived there for 2 years. Every day is hot and humid.

Singapore is situated near to the equator. Therefore we don't experience 4 seasons that a lot of countries situated away from the equator are experiencing. We do have the monsoon seasons, that is, rainy season which is around Dec-Feb.

So in all, Singapore is generally a humid country just like Malaysia, Indonesia, Florida, some parts of India and Australia.

Singapore is located on the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, south of the Malaysia state of Johor, and north of the Indonesia Riau Islands. It lies just 137 kilometres (miles) north of the Equator. As it is so near to the Equator, its distance from the Sun varies little through out the year. This gives Singapore very little chance to vary in its climate and temperature; hence, it does not experience 4 seasons.
