Singapore is situated near to the equator. Therefore we don't experience 4 seasons that a lot of countries situated away from the equator are experiencing. We do have the monsoon seasons, that is, rainy season which is around Dec-Feb.



So in all, Singapore is generally a humid country just like Malaysia, Indonesia, Florida, some parts of India and Australia.

It lies just 137 kilometres (miles) north of the Equator. As it is so near to the Equator, its distance from the Sun varies little through out the year.
